Some symptoms that could be a sign of Mesothelioma
If the name of world’s deadliest, rarest, dangerous and difficult to diagnosis diseases are short listed, then the name of Mesothelioma would come on the top position. The cells of this cancer are found in the Mesothelium. This thin lining covers human body’s majority of internal organs. The cells of Mesothelioma cancer spread from their origin and affect other organs as well.
Researchers have found three types of Mesothelioma, named Pleural, peritoneal, Testicular and pericardial. Among these, Pleural is the most common type. It has been noticed that maximum patients of this type of cancer come under pleural type. Now, let’s discuss about symptoms of different kinds of Mesothelioma to get a proper understanding of this disease.
The pleural Mesothelioma patients face symptoms like, night sweating, fever, fatigue, appearance of lumps in the lungs and chest region, 10% or more weight loss, constant pain in the chest wall, shortness of breath and a few more.
On the other side, those who get affected by the Peritoneal Mesothelioma experience symptoms like, anemia, diarrhea or constipation and some of the manifestations of pleural Mesothelioma. Knowledge about this type of cancer will remain incomplete without knowing the facts of Pericardial and Testicular Mesothelioma. Under the pericardial type, the patients suffer from chest pain, generalized fatigue, irregular heartbeat and a few more. On the other hand, as the Testicular Mesothelioma is an extremely rare from of this cancer (in the last 60 years, only 100 cases have been recorded), the symptoms of it haven’t been identified properly.
